Feb 20,21 2007 These are pictures of some of the concrete girders being used on the 1-355 extension for the 1.3-mile Des Plaines River Valley Bridge .
The pieces that came thru Romeoville in these pictures were 170 feet long!!! The next day they were 190 feet long!
it was pretty cool to watch how they make a right turn to go over the 135th bridge.
